Ever noticed that the Trump voters are being quiet, bothering no one?

I usually travel with my child and have the flight attendants bending over backwards to accommodate both of us so I always thank them profusely and WRITE a letter to the airline thanking them by name and try my best to get on the same airline if possible next time. Also, unless there is the RARE exception where my connecting flight is very close to leaving when I arrive, I stay in my seat until everyone has left as it's better to wait in our seat than to wait standing in the isle, sandwiched between 4-5 others. And IF I have a connecting flight cutting it too close, I NOTIFY the flight attendants and ask if we can get priority in leaving, maybe by sitting near the exit before the flight starts it's descent. They will do their best to accommodate. Although I've never travelled on any American carrier, so your milage may very with them (so to speak).

Hey Captain KKelsey, has it occurred to you that the reason the airlines don't punish bad behavior by banning people from flying with them,, is that the airlines don't want to lose out on the miscreant's money.

Sometime a go I watched a video of interviews of plane captains, and it was about CRM. It had to do with KLM in the Canary Islands. What was funny was the pilots had their wives sitting next to them. One pilot was convinced he was not difficult to work with and said so, his wife couldn't keep a straight face. Personalities so strong the copilots were intimidated.

If this lady is so concerned about climate change, what the hell is she doing onboard an airplane? She should be riding on horse back to her destination and be part of the solution, not contributing to the "problem". Now, Kelsey, I'm sorry you fear getting CANCELED for stating an opinion or point of view, much less facts. Not in this country in which I may totally disagree on what you say, but I would fight to death to protect your right and freedom to do so.

I think when the pandemic rolled out in 2020 that's when "air rage" really got ramped up. Think about it; the whole world's on edge. People living in fear will do crazy things, stupid things.

I started my career in public safety working at a County Comm Center/911 dispatch. There's not a lot of latitude allowed in tone with anyone regardless of circumstances. Reporting parties are frequently hysterical, LE Officers, paramedics, firefighters may be frantic and incongruous in their communications which isn't unusual in rapidly changing circumstances. Listening to someone die during their call to 911 isn't even an excuse to request a break from the panel to unscrew your head and shake it out. I'm not dismissing the fact that ATC work is stressful, but the controller's behavior in the context of such a nominal detail as a pilot being unfamiliar with a landmark? Outrageous.
